ABA School Assessment Tool

In order to assist schools with measuring improvement in anti-bullying work, the Anti-bullying Alliance has produced a school assessment tool.  The tool allows schools to consider areas of achievement to date, and areas they need to prioritise for future action.  These areas include:

- School Leadership

- School Policy

- Data Collection and Analysis

- Prevention

- Responding/Intervention

- Involving Pupils

- Engaging Parents/ Carers

- Staff Training and Development

- Partnership Working

These priorities can then form the basis of an action plan for anti-bullying work in the school. We would encourage schools to revisit the assessment tool every 6 months to measure progress.

If you would like help or advice in completing the school assessment tool, or you would like to make a comment or suggestion about the tool, then please email the ABA central team info@ncb.org.uk.
