Young Anti-Bullying Alliance and the Diana Award

This award recognises children and young people who have been actively engaged in preventing bullying and providing support to those who have experienced bullying.

Schools or organisations working with children and young people can make nominations, while local authorities should encourage nominations from their area.

The Young Anti-Bullying Alliance (YABA) was formed in 2007 through partnership between the Diana Anti-Bullying Award and the Anti-Bullying Alliance. YABA is for children and young people up to the age of 18 and is run by a national Board with 2 representatives from each region. Membership is drawn from those who have received the Diana Anti-Bullying Award.

The Diana Anti-Bullying Award and YABA seek to promote good practice and to ensure that there is an effective voice for children and young people at all levels.
