Involving children and young people
Children and young people
should be involved in the development of anti-bullying policy and
strategy, along with the process of monitoring, review and
evaluation.
This should form part of the
self evaluation process for local authorities, schools and relevant
agencies.
Some ways to consult
include:
- Youth parliament / youth council / youth forum
- School councils
- Young people’s advisory groups
- Young people’s discussion pages (on website)
- Questionnaires/surveys/focus groups/ research (preferably
designed and carried out by young people)
- Conferences for children and young people
