Anti-bullying service
A local authority may decide that the best way to ensure that
anti-bullying work is embedded in schools and the wider community,
is to provide a bespoke anti-bullying service.
The service could have a number of different roles
including:
- Co-ordinating the anti-bullying strategy across the LA
- Publishing policies, documents and updates
- Providing case workers to manage complex cases
- Providing support to parents and carers
- Ensuring participation of children and young people
- Offering a training programme to schools and the wider
community
- Collecting data and measuring improvement
- Managing a complaints
service
